Esperance Regional Forum launches Wetlands Documentary! On Tuesday, 20th July 2010, over 70 people attended the launch of a documentary on the Lake Warden
Wetlands at the Fenwick 3 Cinemas. The short film was shown after everyone enjoyed a good mingle,
few drinks and something to eat.
Local farmer and film maker Serena Shaddick was contracted by Esperance Regional Forum Inc. to
produce this documentary as part of the Lake Warden Strategic Catchment Project, funded by the
Australian and Western Australian Governments through South Coast Natural Resource Management
Inc. to highlight the importance of the Lake Warden Wetlands.
The DVD will be used as a future reference and will be made available to local schools and community
groups to assist in educating the community about Esperance’s wonderful wetlands.
