ERF sponsors NRM Australia Day award

For the second year running, Esperance Regional Forum is sponsoring the Natural Resource Management Awards in conjunction with the Premier’s Australia Day Active Citizenship Awards. There will be two NRM awards presented, one to a person or group from the community and one to either a professional individual or a professional organisation.

The 2011 Esperance NRM Awards are conducted to recognize and acknowledge the contribution of a community organisation, group or individual who by their joint or personal efforts and example have made significant contributions to natural resource management in the Esperance region.  Nominees for this award will have integrated best practice NRM activities on their property, may have promoted to others best practice NRM in the region , provided support to others in establishing best practice in NRM or have been a strong community advocate for NRM in the district, state or nationally.  Nominations for the award are now closed.

 The awards will be presented as part of the Australia Day celebrations being held at Adventureland Park on Australia Day.  The Australia Day celebrations will commence from 9.30am with the award ceremonies starting from 10.30am.
